Innovation Expo

On 14 April 2016, the European Truck Platooning Challenge will be present on the Innovation Expo, EYE Filmmuseum, Amsterdam.

The Innovation Expo is a large-scale event and a network of over 4,000 entrepreneurs, policymakers, academics and inventive individuals, where start-ups, CEOs, scientists and ministers mingle. Where you can see 200 innovations that bring solutions to global challenges en where you can learn from top speakers. All participants work on innovation and technological breakthroughs that can make a difference in the future. Every two years, the members of the network come together to see what they have achieved so far.

    Mobility plaza ‘Smart and Green’

De European Truck Platooning Challenge stands on the Mobility plaza ‘Smart and Green’, a square where innovative, sustainable solutions will be shown for mobility and mobility infrastructure for the future. The European Truck Platooning Challenge Team will present platooning as a smart way of transport. Sustainable Urban Delta

Using the ‘Sustainable Urban Delta’ theme, Innovation Expo challenges innovative thinkers to provide solutions to current issues in our society, such as water management, energy, food, transport, logistics and nature conservation.

The Netherlands can be seen as a green urban network with an abundance of water. To be internationally competitive, the Netherlands needs to focus on innovation and economies of agglomeration. There is international demand for the know-how that the Netherlands has acquired and for the innovative projects we are currently developing. Innovation provides solutions for urban social challenges and creates jobs.
